Manager Trainee

Qualifications

Success at APPLIANCE & FURNITURE RENTALL requires enthusiasm, self-motivation, and the ability to inspire team members to prioritize exceptional customer service. We seek individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrive on daily problem-solving within a store environment. Strong communication skills are essential. While a college degree or retail experience is a plus, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be open to relocation upon completing training.

Responsibilities

Local management staff members report directly to their Area Supervisor. Key daily responsibilities include:

  • Driving store growth through effective sales strategies, in-store promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Conducting follow-up calls and mailings to engage with customers and strengthen relationships.
  • Optimizing profitability by efficiently managing employees, inventory, and controlling expenses.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service at every stage—from the initial rental to timely delivery and continued merchandise support throughout the rental period.
  • Overseeing cash flow, inventory management, purchasing, and accounts receivable to maintain company-approved standards.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and training store personnel to build a competent and motivated team.
